This has all the makings of a memorable month for you, dear Capricorn! The eclipses are back, but this time they will begin to fall in a new family of signs - yours! Two eclipses are due this month: the first, a full moon lunar eclipse on July 7 in Capricorn, and then later, a new moon solar eclipse on July 21 in the sign that is found directly opposite yours on the wheel, Cancer. A series of eclipses in these signs will continue to come by, arriving in pairs every six months for two years until you have seen eight in all.
By time you reach July 2011, you will have seen eight eclipses, four in Capricorn and four in Cancer. Each time they arrive, they will fall in differing mathematical degrees, so you won't likely feel every one of the eight, only the ones that touch specific parts of your chart.
Eclipses are always dramatic, for they bring unexpected and often completely unrelated developments from the outside in, and this means there's a good chance you'll change your priorities, goals, and timetables. For example, you may have planned to get engaged after you finished graduate school, but something may come up this month to cause you to want to get engaged immediately, without the wait!
You, of course, will be at the center of all that is going on because the eclipses are highlighting your sign, but you won't feel equally all eight eclipses that are due. You will feel only the ones that mathematically touch your Sun or other planets in your natal chart. No need to wonder - you will know for sure very soon - within days of reading this! You are very fortunate in that the eclipses of July will be friendly, so the changes you see happening now will work to your favor.
As I mentioned, the first eclipse will come on July 7 and will be a lunar eclipse in Capricorn. All lunar eclipses are full moons, and they tend to bring an ending or culmination to a certain endeavor, situation, or relationship. After this eclipse appears, you will be able to see which endeavors, obligations, or relationships you'd like to nurture and grow and which ones you'd like to end.
Saturn, your ruler, will send this eclipse a fine golden beam, giving you the opportunity to stabilize your life in a way you may never have been able to accomplish before this. Pluto is now in Capricorn at one degree, considered a very forceful and energetic degree, giving you amazing power and authority. There is almost no plan too big or too difficult to tackle, for the world is now your oyster. Your sheer determination should lead you to victory.
If you are in love, there's a strong indication you will move forward on an engagement or serious promise to your significant other.
If on the other hand you have been hoping against hope that a certain relationship would finally come around to being what you had always wanted, you may have to be very realistic - see it as it is and will always be - and leave. Even so, remember - this eclipse is your friend, so decisions you come to now will allow you to forge a happier, more stable life. If this should happen, don't see this as an end, but as a start to a whole new life, one that was long overdue!
While the July 7 eclipse might highlight a relationship, it could be about just about anything. Its main function will be to help you see fulfillment to a dream that is important to you, and only you can say what that happens to be.
Another mission of an eclipse is to offer you a rare moment of clarity and enlightenment. Often a puzzle piece comes floating down from the sky, and once it lands in your hands, you'll snap it into place and have the complete picture. For that reason, an eclipse can bring understanding and insight into almost any type of situation or relationship. That "Aha" may come either immediately or only later, after you've had time to think about events that the eclipse brought to light. Keep in mind that the eclipse will be pushing you forward, and they bring final, non-negotiable events that don't allow you to go backward, only forward. If you find that you don't like the new changes you make, you will have to make more changes on the road up ahead.
Lunar eclipses like the one July 7 are always more emotional than solar eclipses. When you hear the word "emotional" don't assume that is necessarily bad! The news of this eclipse could make you wildly happy and represent quite a proud moment for you, one that will have you calling all your friends and making you want to shout the news from the rooftops!
If your birthday falls on January 5, plus or minus five days, you will feel the effects of this eclipse more than most, for this Capricorn eclipse falls at 15 degrees of your sign.
The eclipse in Cancer will be a new moon solar eclipse on July 21, and this will bring you a chance to merge energies with another person. That may be in marriage or in business. This new moon will open a whole new path for you in the months ahead. Opportunity to forge a serious relationship (or to cement one you are in now) will likely strike suddenly, thanks to a beam from Uranus - but even so, because Uranus will be so encouraging this month, you'll likely be thrilled! Big life events tend to happen at eclipse time, so you may decide to get married under this eclipse, or you may choose to sign a business partner, agent, or manager for your business. If your birthday falls on January 19, or within five days of this date, you will feel the effects of this eclipse more than most Capricorns.
This month, especially near July 7, you may see a woman leave your life - she may be a relative or friend. This may happen for any number of reasons, but an eclipse of the moon (which is always feminine) often means a woman will be "eclipsed out" of your everyday life. Perhaps your Mom will move house because she'd like to live in a sunny, warm climate, or a good friend will marry and you won't see one another as much anymore. If you were not born near January 5, this won't likely apply to you.
Conversely, at the solar eclipse July 21, you may see a man depart from your life. Again, if you were not born near January 19, this won't apply to you.
Eclipses have a very wide area of influence, so you may not see changes in July but rather later, in August (within four days of August 5 or 21) or in some cases, even later, in the few months ahead. When the radical changes hit, you'll know that they were unlike any you had experienced before. Big events follow eclipses.
I know I had a major eclipse on my Sun when I was only four years old - the very year my sister was born seven months later. Curious, I looked up the chart of my oldest daughter, Christiane, and saw she also had a major eclipse on her birthday when she was three years old. Her sister, my youngest, Diana, was born two months later that year.
Changes in the family structure often take place in years we have an eclipse in our sign. Also, it is common to move to a new space soon after the eclipse appears. The moon (being eclipsed) rules family, home, real estate, and the overall domestic condition, so it is common to see changes in these areas. In your case, the moon ALSO rules your solar seventh house of close committed relationships so you may see an interesting development in terms of a romantic or business relationship, too. All the areas lit up for you are big areas, so your life may be ready to undergo an exciting change on several fronts. If you don't feel this eclipse, there will be many more in the two years to come, arriving every six months. The next ones are due December 31 and January 15. Whatever comes, you are ready, dear Capricorn.
Now let's turn to other events in your life this month.
Financially, you should have a strong month, especially if you work in the arts, are paid for your ideas, or are part of the team supporting creative people. Jupiter is still traveling close to Neptune in your earned income area (second house), a wonderful configuration. These two planets will meet in perfect conjunction, a rare aspect to happen July 10. See if you get good news on this day! The reason I am focusing on the arts here is that Neptune is associated with music, dance, painting, poetry, and other expressions. Neptune is considered a patron of all the arts. If you are an artist or if you are on the support team of an artist, you will do well.
If you are NOT in the arts, then you need to be very realistic and not have overblown expectations of a financial deal on the table. Look at it carefully, go over it with your lawyer, and decide if your assumptions are correct.
One other day that should prove excellent for hearing good financial news concerning your earned income will be July 27 when Venus and Jupiter will be so sweetly, and smartly, engaged in conversation on your behalf.
Travel possibilities will come up for you throughout the month, and although it looks more likely that you will travel very short distances, you'll still enjoy time spent in any new setting. Uranus will be very prominent in your chart, adding that special note of excitement and surprise.
Your best times to take a trip will be in the first week of July, especially near July 7, when an opportunity to pack and go will likely come up very unexpectedly.
Then later, over the weekend of July 16-17, Uranus will send a beam to the mighty Sun, causing you to find the perfect weekend spot to visit. Your need to escape everyday routine will be enormous at this time, so be spontaneous! A trip would be the right idea to make you feel refreshed again.
Romantically, your best time will come between July 1 and 10. It matters not if you are single and looking for love, or if you are attached and hoping to have some relaxing fun with your special someone. All Capricorns will do well.
I say this because at that time, Mars will still be journeying through your fifth house of true love, the very place you would want Mars to be. Mars entered the fifth house of true love last month, so you may have met someone at that time - it certainly was the right time to strike up a new relationship. Continue!
If you didn't meet anyone last month, you will have more opportunities to do so, so be sure you get out of the house and circulate! In the United States, early July brings the Fourth of July holiday. If you live in the USA, how fortunate it is that you will have such sparkling love aspects at a time when most people will have time off.
Actually, on July 7, which will be the eclipse, with Mars in fine conversation with Uranus at the same time, you will have a truly exciting vibe. You may give a spontaneous party or barbeque at home (the place you'll have your best luck) and if you do, it would be a roaring success. Conversation will sparkle! Alternatively you may decide to travel a short distance, and again you'll be doing all the right things to encourage love.
Dear Capricorn, you are starting a whole new life. The eclipses this month will see to that. By the end of these series of eclipses in July 2011, you will be in a whole new place of the mind and heart, and everyday elements of your routine will be different, too. It'll all be good. Trust in the wisdom of the universe!

July could well mark a key turning point in your life. The decisions you make now and in coming weeks will carry you forward through the coming decade, for you're about to start a vital new cycle. The eclipses in Capricorn (July 7) and Cancer (July 21), not seen since 2000, will help you update your self-image and ask you to reset priorities. You'll also consider whether a close relationship is meeting your needs. If the answer is no, you'll likely leave it near the July 7 lunar eclipse. If the answer is yes, you'll draw up plans for a more committed life together. Eclipses call for final decisions, with no delaying the answer. The solar eclipse July 21 will open a stunning opportunity, so large and all-consuming that it'll leave you breathless. If you want it, reach for it with both hands. Also this month, financial opportunity exists through artistic expression. If you're creative, voice your ideas and show artistic expressions near July 10.

Hold on to your hat, something highly important to you is about to come to culmination within a week of the lunar eclipse July 7. If you were born near January 6, you'll feel that you've moved into a whole new life.
A female friend, partner, or relative may leave your immediate environment near July 7 for any number of reasons but it appears final, if you were born near January 5. If you are born near January 19, a male will leave.
Financially, sell a creative or artistic idea, for Neptune conjunct Jupiter will help you on July 10. Runner up day: July 29.
Your office life is going to get crazy busy July 11 through August. Plan on a vacation in September.
Travel for work on July 6 - you have a good chance of getting the order. Travel for romance over July 18-19. You may go quite spontaneously in either case.
Romance will be best July 1-10 (thanks to Mars in Taurus) - if you are single, circulate!
